Noah & Eli

I had such a quick and easy session with these little cuties the other morning! Noah is super fast and so incredibly active- and I love him for it!!!! how boring would it be if he sat there and smiled for me-pretty boring =) He always brings laughs and silliness to our shoots! Little Eli is just the happiest little guy and its so crazy to see him sit up! when did he get sooo big?!?!? I cant wait till they are both running around… that will be a fun shoot (workout) =)

I just love the next two pictures =) such a cutie!Wichita Falls TX photographerphotographer in Wichita Falls TX

Erica & Fred

Erica and Fred are finally married! =) I have been looking forward to this day for a good while… Its not very often I get the opportunity to photograph a destination wedding! Erica brought Lauren and I to New Jersey for all the fabulous activities and we just had the most amazing time celebrating with all of their family and friends! Erica and Fred made us feel so incredibly special as if we were one of their treasured guests and I just loved being able to be so involved the whole weekend! LOVED LOVED LOVED every minute of it! =)

While Erica and her sister were getting their hair and makeup done at The Village SalonLauren andI photographed  some of the sweet details and snapped some images of Fred and his brother getting ready for the day.  Erica’s dress from The Priscilla of Boston, Vineyard Collection was stunning-especially on Erica!

I know I say this all the time- but because Erica and Fred are one truly amazing couple and pictures were obviously top priority for them- they did a First Look! Erica told me yesterday that the First Look was Fred’s favorite part of the whole day =) I love it becuase it is truly THEIR time.

Erica and Fred chose this amazing venue, The Prallsville Mill in Stockton, New Jersey for the wedding and reception- We did a lot of their pictures around there! The building and surrounding space was so unique, vintage and beautiful! Prallsville Mill in Stockton, New Jersey wedding

The flowers were by Dahliaand I just adored Erica’s choice to use wildflowers and berries to create a completley unique bouqet and bouteniors!Wichita Falls TX wedding photographerPrallsville Mill in Stockton, New Jersey WeddingThere is this gorgeous river behind the Mill and It made for a incredible backdrop!

The Ceremony was in front of this old red barn at the Mill and the overall look of it was perfect for Erica’s vintage wedding!Wedding at Prallsville Mill in Stockton, New JerseyOne thing I LOVE  about first looks is that it doesn’t take away from the ceremony… here it is- yes Fred tearing up and starting to cry as Erica is walking down the aisle and his brother laughing at him =)North TX wedding photographer Meegan Weaver PhotographyI love it when couples write their own vows to each other…. so much more special! =)someone is excited =)Prallsville Mill Wedding in Stockton, New JerseyThe inside of the Prallsville Mill was gorgeous and full of character!Erica along with Dahlia and Emily’s Cafe and Catering transformed the venue! I loved how the Mill is old with the vintage charm but the decor and dinning set up was completely elegant! The remaining dance party portion of the reception was downstairs where the water actually goes through the Mill.. I had a blast photographing them having the time of their life- I can honestly say every guest had an amazing time!!Prallsville Mill wedding reception in Stockton, New Jersey

Dont forget to check out their full day with the slide show… There’s soo many more pictures to show off their day! Love the song by Iron and Wine that she chose! Click here to view the slide show!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gabby

Meet the newest member to our little family…. Her name is Gabby and she is an Australian Sheppard. We just love this big ball of fur!!! A couple of weekends ago we made a weekend getaway trip to go pick her up down by the Houston area. While there we took an extra day or so and went to Galveston Beach to just spend time together as a family. It was much needed- but more on that later when I finally get around to blogging our beach vacation-I know im horrible! Gabby is actually Aydin’s birthday present… He turns 3 in about a week and we knew he would love his new puppy… Our first child (Chocolate Lab named Sis) doesnt like to play with Aydin… She wont follow him or listen to him-just basically ignores him =) Aydin loves to feed Gabby and play with her… its just the cutest thing ever! She just follows him around the yard and gets so excited when he comes outside to play with her! Love it! Heres Sissy Dog… Shes happy as well to have a new playmate-they play great together and I know she enjoys the extra company! My favorite thing is to go walking and Aydin walks with the leash connected to Sissy and Gabby just follows right along-Love my little family!

Connecting

Its about 1:30 a.m. and I am WIDE AWAKE!!  My body is tired and I keep yawning and closing my eyes a little but my mind is going non stop… I always seem to think more and unpurposefully (not sure if that word exists) brainstorm at night.

I have a list… an actual list of things I would like to blog about (that i wrote down as I was trying to lay down and go to sleep) I got up, came back to the computer where I have been sitting for about 4 hrs already to mark atleast one of those items off my list- FACEBOOK.

If we are friends on facebook you might realize that I do in fact live on there… Its great way for me to have a mental break in between editing photos and the chaos going on around me almost all day…

If we arnt friends on facebook- you should friend me =) not because I have anything important that I share on there because I most certainly dont… But I would love for you to know me! One of my favorite things is when I start talking with a potential bride and she says she feels like she already knows me- I want my blog to be like that as well.. but really its because we’ve been friends on facebook for a while and she reads all my random comments and my mobile uploads of my son Aydin and our new puppy Gabby (pics to come soon) Im awful at blogging but I manage to stay pretty active with randomness on facebook! ha!

AND I want to know you as well… Facebook is so addicting because we love knowing and reading about whats going on in other peoples lives… I love it! and I love that I can catch small doses of it without having to put forth much effort. I love being able to read about wedding plans going on and mobile pictures of kiddos that I get to photograph… Its great! I feel connected to the world even  though I stay home almost all day.;)

Connect with me!

and just so you have a taste of what you been missing out on if we arnt friends…. two amazing high quality pictures!! j/k – two very poor quality i phone mobile uploads while I was in NY

Im obviously pretty random in my thoughts and Im kind of all over the place and I have no sense of grammar (hate me for it if you will- but its just me) I just wanted to give you an open invite to friend me and get to know me more as I try to make my blog a more personal representation of me and not just my photography business (that is my life).

On the list for future blog posts…
-Erica and Fred’s fabulous wedding
-My experience in NYC
- Our new puppy Gabby
- date nights with my hubby…. I don’t talk about him much but I promise He does exist =) and I would be nothing without him.
- and more….
