Lauren & Seth

I dont even know where to begin on this wedding… there is so much to say, so much I LOVE about it, so much about the couple! Seth left on his second deployment right after their engagement and Lauren plunged herself into planning the wedding of her dreams. I know it definitely helped keep her busy since her man was gone for 6 months. Since Lauren happens to be my second shooter for most weddings we did a lot of talking about the details she was coming up with for her wedding and the excitement just kept building and building! I FINALLY got to see everything come together Saturday morning when I arrived in Trenton Tx at her grandmothers house and I was just blown away! The entire family has been working on the house non stop transforming a backyard wedding into a dream! Every time I talked to Lauren she was sewing or folding or designing something different and unique for her special day! and what a special day it was…. I know a lot of couples don’t necessarily spend as much time on their wedding but it REALLY pays off!

She hand cut and sewed about 100 birds that were hung in the trees or sitting on windows. Her wedding invitations had about 10 different unique pieces to them. There were TONS of antique bottles, birds of all sorts on the tables, stain glass windows were hung at the ceremony site with other antique window frames throughout the backyard. She made this amazing drape that separated the reception and ceremony until reception time with different fabric birds sewn on… just every little detail thought of and planned out. Lauren took pride in being able to use her grandmothers Silver and punch cup collection. The napkins were a variety of unique patterned fabric wrapped and tied with her grandmothers Silver fork inside. just amazing!! and if she went through soo much planning and making and designing she deserves for it to be told =) Due to the overload of details I have quite a few collages throughout the post so please pay attention to them and admire her craftiness =)Because Lauren and Seth are amazing in every single way- they chose to do a first look! yay! I was one happy photographer all day! =) Thanks to Amber who stepped in to help me with Lauren’s wedding- the double image below is hers!

one of the best reasons to do a first look is the calmness and happiness that comes about when the couple gets to spend time together! Lauren was  much happier and calm bride after being with her other half! =)

Lauren’s grandmothers house! Gorgeous!

one of the most awesome wedding party’s =) love the assortment of colors!we were waiting to head out into the street and quickly made it a wedding party photo- LOVE!

Back to Lauren’s details… She even made signs to help people find their way!

God was smiling down on us Saturday… the weather was perfect… LOVE me some clouds!

One of the other amazing details Lauren came up with was using her antique polaroid camera as a guestbook! She even had an album already pre-made scrapbook for the picture to be posted and their card with any advice or sweet comments.

The wedding and reception were just amazing.. I know i keep saying AMAZING but thats the best and only way to describe it! This post could have been much longer but yay for slide shows where you can watch and check out more of their awesomeness! =) http://meeganweaver.com/index.html#/lauren-seth/
