Time for a new journey

If you follow me on facebook or instagram then you already know what my family is up to. Over the last year and a half my husband and I have been doing seminary classes to prepare to become missionaries with New Tribes Mission. We will move to their Training Center in Missouri this summer to pursue tribal church planting. We are so excited about how the Lord is leading us and how He has been preparing us for this time. You can check out my new blog at www.chrisandmeegan.wordpress.com to read more about it or keep in touch.

So far He has enabled me to continue running my photography business while doing seminary and homeschooling my kids. That time has now come to an end as we finish up our last semester of classes and start to fundraise. It has been an amazing 10 years doing wedding photography and I have loved every minute of it. I have been blessed to get to know so many people that have truly changed my life forever through this business. I am so grateful God brought me this business and  blessed it so abundantly. I viewed each of my clients as a gift from the Lord to enable me to use my passion for photography to serve others. I am sad to leave the wedding industry because I firmly believe that marriage is one of His greatest gifts and should be upheld and documented beautifully. I will miss them for sure!! However, the Lord has called our family to an un-reached people group who don’t have access to hear about the great love Jesus has for them. He has laid a burden on our hearts to reach those who live in remote locations with no way of knowing that God created them and loved them enough to come and die on the cross to be the perfect sacrifice. We are excited to join the Lord in His work of reaching the nations.
“for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?” Romans 10:13-14
