We waited till the weather FINALLY cooled off a tad to get their engagement session done and wouldnt you know it was so incredibly windy!! But they rocked it out and between gusts we got some great shots! Doesn’t Blaire look amazing! =)

Thank yall so much for putting up with the wind!!! Praise Jesus for cooler weather though!! Cant wait to be a part of your big day!

Ive had Taryn and Grant’s lovely day after session posted on my facebook page for over a week and Im just now getting around to blogging it-bad blogger! Truth is I am actually enjoying summer time and working less than normal-this incredibly hot summer has a lot to do with that! Taryn and Grant are amazing and sweated it out with me on a sweltering hot evening in July! no matter the heat they look amazing and we had some great laughs!

If you have been keeping track of Taryn and Grant you know that her family owns Gallery A Custom Framing- a fabulous place to get custom frames here in Wichita Falls! We chose to incorporate that into their Day After Session… after searching and searching I found the perfect tree for hanging all those frames! I love how it all turned out! so dreamy!

I just adore how Grant looks at his new bride and how genuine their laughs are together! They show that true love is a reality!

a little backstage about this lovely day after session- I got Austin Walton to come out and video me shooting their session- a little nervous to see  but he’s amazing so I cant wait to see how it turns out- I will be sure to share that with you when its up!!

We started the day off at Taryn’s friend’s house and it was the perfect background for all of their details and their first look and wedding party pictures!Taryn and Grant’s beautiful ceremony was at Our Lady Queen of Peace in Wichita Falls and the reception followed at The Wellington Banquet Hall. We grabbed some more shots of the two lovebirds before their reception! Kim Southard with The Swanky Thang did another amazing job transforming The Wellington!! I loved the use of limes in the flower arrangements!

They were such a blast!!! A Formal Affair rocked the dance floor and some of the girls had a great time on stage singing along!! It was such an incredible day and Im so excited to see them get married and celebrate with so many many friends and family!

Lisa’s great grandparents moved to the states and built a beautiful little house in 1910 on about 360 acres of beautiful raw Texas land! That house is where her grandma grew up and where Lisa has grown up visiting her whole life! We had an incredible time exploring the property and getting to know each other! I just LOVE the original coral fence that is still there… feels like its right out of an old western! It was so neat to meet both their parents while there taking the engagement photos- Lisa’s mom was getting teary eyed seeing Lisa getting her pictures taken at such memorable spots! love it!

Thank you so much Lisa and Seth for trusting me with your big day and memories to last a lifetime!!! Yall are awesome!!!

Chris and Kallan just moved to Wichita Falls while Chris is at Sheppard Air Force Base..they eloped several years ago and life got busy- but now they had the time and energy to plan a gorgeous wedding that really reflected them and an opportunity to make vows to each other in front of their family and friends- it was PERFECT (minus a little Texas wind)

LOVED LOVED LOVED EVERY SINGLE DETAIL!! =) The Peacock River Ranch was incredibly gorgeous and did an outstanding job creating exactly what Kallan had in mind!  Their sweet little girl Clark was the cutest thing ever with her mini brooch bouquet! there is so much details I could go on and on about that was truly unique and special- the guest book below were flowers that guests wrote on and then pinned to a framed board they made-LOVE!

Every last detail was perfect at The Peacock River Ranch- loved the vintage cars that brought the girls down from the room!! Kallan and Chris chose to do a hand ceremony-talking about how these are the hands that you will hold… etc. it was so touching!!! perfect for what was more of a renewal ceremony!

GORGEOUS!! even in the Texas summer heat-everything was perfect!! Thank you Chris and Kallan for allowing me the pleasure of spending the day with you!! just amazing!

Katy started the day off getting her hair done in one of the beautiful little cottages out at the Coyote Ranch Resort in Wichita Falls TX. The cabin was PERFECT for getting ready in- lots of room for the bridal party and beautiful lighting!! Jared and Katy chose to do their first look in the Chapel at the Coyote Ranch Resort where they would be married in just a few short hours! i know i keep saying the words beautiful and gorgeous… but thats exactly what this place is! The chapel is all windows and beautiful beautiful lighting!

We took some more bride and groom pictures around the Ranch- love me some Texas land!

The ceremony was so beautiful and I LOVE the song Jared picked out for Katy to walk down the aisle to! Be sure to check out the slide show at the bottom of this post so you can hear it too! Lauren got some amazing sun flare shots during the wedding ceremony- perfect!!!

Their Wedding Ceremony ended just in time for us to grab MORE bride and groom pictures with my all time favorite lighting!!! I seriously adore every shot taken during this little part!

Lexie is my kind of girl- willing to go all out for picture purposes! When we started talking about them as a couple and how we could bring that out in their engagements I was just counting down the days till their engagement session rolled around! (and we still have pt 2 to shoot in about a month =) yay!)

We met up at Nostalgia in Bowie Texas where Ben and Lexie spend a lot of their time  enjoying ice cream sundaes and browsing around. I just adore this antique store!! Ben and Lexie have an incredibly quirky and fun personality that kept me laughing the whole shoot!

The owners of Nostalgia have the cutest bed and breakfast house in Bowie- we ran over there to grab some more shots to fit the theme of Ben and Lexie’s outfits!

I seriously have way too many favorites from this engagement session!

Ben and Lexie enjoy a lot of their time out at the Ammon Carter Lake in Bowie and they typically load up the dogs and hop in Ben’s jeep! I couldnt get enough of the gorgeous pine trees out by the lake and Ben and Lexie playing with their dogs!!

Cannot wait for pt2 of their engagement pictures out on the lake!! The day of this shoot it was a little too windy and cloudy but its gonna be an incredible time here pretty soon!!
