Get ready for Calyn over load!! Ive been taking pictures of my precious baby girl and enjoying every second of her the last six weeks and just now getting around to sharing with you- I know bad blogger over here!

My sweet friend Cherie came and did some amazing newborn pictures for us that I absolutely adore! My baby girl looks like a little doll.. We all love her so much and especially her big brother! Aydin has been doing an incredible job being my big helper and loving on his baby sister! The following photos are from her newborn shoot with Cherie Marie Photography. Check her out-shes the best!! From day one Calyn has been so alert when shes awake-my baby girl loves to sleep! yay!! which means i have had an easy adjustment to becoming a mom of two! Here she is at 1 week

2 weeks old =)3 weeks old-still sleeping like a champ!4 weeks old 1 month old- big brother still loves her =)6 weeks old and smiling =)If you have kept looking you can see my baby girl is coming quite the chunk =) and still sleeping all the time! love it!!

Calyn’s Birth

so excited to share with you Calyn’s Birth day!! My friend and colleague Lauren Pinson came out to document the day for us and I cant explain how thankful I am for that!! It was such a blessing to be able to sit back and take it all in without the added stress of wanting and trying to document it all by yourself! She got some incredible moments on camera that I will cherish forever!!! There is just something about the miracle of birth that can kind of freak you out and so in the back of my mind I had prepared myself and half way expected something horrible to happen… Thank you Jesus that everything went perfectly and we are both as healthy as can be! God has blessed us with a beautiful and perfect baby girl that my heart is overwhelmed with praise and thankfulness! Aydin adores his baby sister and is such a big help with her-I couldnt be more proud! =)

Calyn’s Vintage Nursery

As many of you know who follow my facebook page- our sweet baby girl was born November 2nd!! I am absolutely in love with her =) so I apologize for lack of posts lately and incase your uninterested the abundance of baby posts that will soon be following =)

Baby Calyn Cay is about a week and half old now and Im finally starting to feel normal again! Ive been meaning to post her nursery pictures and just getting around to it! I had so much fun putting it all together- the one room in my house that is vintage and girly! Wish I could redecorate my whole house but Im gonna have to wait till we build one day! I think Calyn loves her room as well-shes been sleeping so much better since I put her in her crib and out of the cradle in our room!

Below is just a few pictures!! I also LOVE the ones Tara got of some of her furniture in our maternity pictures-you gotta check those out too!!!

The fabric flower holder is an old fan head and the fabric roses are from Snowy Bliss

Last weekend we packed up most of baby Calyn’s nursery and headed to Paris, TX to see the Tara Swain! Back in January I had the honor of photographing her sweet family and it finally came time for our maternity pictures and a chance to be on the other side of the camera! It was an eventful night with Chris’s truck breaking down on the way back and so forth but it was so worth it! I just ADORE ALL of our pictures!!!!! below is just a few I pulled from her blog to share with you so you gotta go check out her blog post to see more!

Once I get her room all back together I plan on taking pictures of all the little details and posting photos but heres a little peak…

GIRL!!!!

My heart’s desire has always been to have a girl- My mom and I share such a special bond and I cant wait to have that with my own daughter one day! I am just overjoyed and to be honest- so humbled that God’s perfect plan for our family included satisfying my heart’s desire! Of course I would love another little boy-my sweet Aydin just warms my heart and its insane how much love you can have for a child! I love how God has used having children to show me just PART of the depth of love He has for us-unimaginable!

Cant wait to actually start decorating and getting ready! Aydin is so excited-its just too much fun!! Thanks to Jessica Bailey for quickly taking some pictures for us to announce with! gotta love snowcones!!

Aydin is gonna be a Big Brother!!!!

We are so excited here in the Weaver household for a sweet new baby to join our little family! To be honest Chris and I have been struggling with trying to conceive for about 15 months and the Lord has finally blessed us in His amazing perfect timing. He always knows best and its so exciting to see it all playout!

Baby Weaver is scheduled to be arriving around November 8th =) Aydin is going to be the best big brother! He already talks to and loves on the baby (my belly) just makes my heart melt!First sonogram at about 5 to 6 weeks- our little peanut! =)

WPPI Recap2 Shootout!

One of the few times I ventured out of the MGM hotel where the conference was, we did a shootout with Dan Fields and Stephen Knuth in the desert! so much fun! the models were gorgeous and they were amazing! It was absolutely freezing and they rocked it out! The shoot was mostly practicing with off camera flash- I think I like the natural light ones I got even more though! Thanks to Stephen for some super fun photos after the sun went down!!! one of me, us TX girls, and then the whole group!

Hope everyone had a great week- I had a blast in Vegas yet at the same time- I missed my lovely routine =) and my family missed me just a little bit too much! Glad to be back!

WPPI recap1

Vegas baby!!! so I’m a little behind on my posting due to being in Vegas at WPPI all this past week! It was an amazing time learning and growing and most importantly spending time with all my fellow photog friends!! We managed to break free for an hr one afternoon to get some fun shots of each other in the MGM courtyard/pool area! love these girls- they made WPPI an incredible first experience for me!

Ive taken lots of pictures of my good friend Erica- and these are by far my all time favorite!!! work it girl!!

Snow Day 2 with the family

SERIOUSLY seriously ready for the weather to change around these parts!!! I am such a sissy when it comes to cold and although I love looking at everyone’s gorgeous pics in the snow… I just cant make myself do it-unless maybe you give me a brave Bride all dolled up… then maybe MAYBE. =)

One good thing about these lovely snow days is that my hubby gets somewhat forced to stay home with us! full days dont happen often around here. When we are home our favorite things to do are get comfy (or rather stay comfy considering I like to be dressed comfy all day every day Im in the house) and snuggle and watch movies! pure bliss and enjoyment right there!
We are also big time ticklers and a little bit of rough housing here and there! Aydin is almost always the one being tickled and the one jumping on us and running all over the house-full of energy that kid is- and I LOVE it!!

this is just about everyday in the Weaver household… love his energy! not sure what hes singing… but LOVE his facial expressions while belting it out!me and my hunnyyeah he thinks hes funny

Is it Spring yet?

Im so ready for Spring time! This winter weather is driving me nuts!! The other day when it just happened to be warm Aydin and I went for a walk around the neighborhood and it was WONDERFUL!!! Our neighbor’s tree has given me a sign that maybe just maybe Spring isnt too far away!

Ive been meeting with the most amazing couples and am soooo ready to start all those engagement pictures!

Dear Jesus, please bless us with warm and beautiful weather again! Oh how I love this little man!!!

As all the lovely winter weather is about to hit us again-thinking warm thoughts =)
